About Juliana and Glenn

You could say that Juliana and Glenn first fell in love at age thirteen, sharing the fast lane at summer swim team practice at the Winchester Boat Club in their home town of Winchester, MA. Four years later, they would finally get up the nerve to talk to each other. The pair dated senior year of high school, going to each other’s proms and bonding over their mutual love of the cult classic movie Clue. Ultimately, Juliana and Glenn ended up at different colleges and went their separate ways.

Several years later, Juliana was just starting her third year of medical school at UMass, and Glenn had moved from Boston to Seattle to take a job as a software engineer with Amazon. Juliana woke up the morning after her 26th birthday to find that Glenn had dropped her a note via Facebook to wish her happy birthday, the first time they had communicated in years. Feeling nostalgic towards the boy whom she’d gushed over as a teenager, Juliana replied, and the two kept the conversation going over the next six months. When Glenn came back to Massachusetts for Christmas, he invited Juliana out to brunch to catch up in person. Now they’re getting married!

Juliana and Glenn now both live in Seattle, where Glenn is still working for Amazon and Juliana is completing her medical residency in pediatrics at Seattle Children’s Hospital. They share their apartment by the Space Needle with an adorable cat named Skip, whom they spoil positively rotten.

The Wedding

Ceremony and Reception

The wedding will be held on September 9, 2017 at the historic Fruitlands Museum in the town of Harvard, Massachusetts. The ceremony begins at 5pm, on the grass outside in front of a beautiful view. Just a few feet away from the ceremony is the floored reception tent where there will be dinner, dancing, and an open bar.

Getting There

The Fruitlands Museum is located in Harvard, Massachussets, a town in central Massachusetts about 45 minutes west of Boston. Please do not be confused by the name - despite sharing a namesake, the town of Harvard is not related to Harvard University, nor are the two near each other.

Registry

What we want most for our wedding is to have all of our friends and family present to celebrate with us. We could, of course, also use some things for the house as we start our new lives together. If you would like to get us something, we have registries at Zola and Macy's.
